Biography
I am a board-certified anesthesiologist and the thoracic anesthesiology lead at the OSUCCC – James. With extensive expertise in cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesiology, I bring a strong foundation of knowledge, refined skills and sound clinical judgment to ensure patient safety and comfort. I am deeply committed to delivering compassionate care that allows patients to feel as comfortable as possible.
I am passionate about participating in innovative research to further the field of anesthesiology. My experience includes providing anesthetics during the first cardiac surgery case at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center that utilized the da Vinci robotic surgical system. I was also involved during the first single-lung and first double-lung transplant surgeries at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. I enjoy educating and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows. I am a professor of Anesthesiology in The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
