About Me
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in providing personalized primary care for babies, children and adolescents. In my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I treat pediatric patients for acute illnesses, skin issues like eczema and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression and attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I help lead quality improvement projects and I am involved in multiple pediatric health initiatives.
I highly value my patients and their families and it’s a privilege to build long-lasting relationships with them as we work to achieve their wellness goals. When parents or guardians bring their children to see me, they can trust that I will do everything I can to make the visit as enjoyable as possible for them and their little ones. I closely monitor your child’s growth and development during routine visits, and I focus on providing anticipatory guidance on what is to come as your child gets older. In addition, when your child is sick, my team and I will provide evidence-based treatment and will do our best to see them in a timely fashion. My goal is always for parents and patients to leave the office feeling confident in their plan.
I feel lucky to do this work at Ohio State and to work alongside such an exceptional group of people who are so committed to delivering the best care possible to our patients. I am also proud to invest in the next generation of nurse practitioners. During my own training, I was surrounded by excellent educators and clinicians who greatly influenced my own career, and I am proud to pay it forward.
I do that by serving as an adjunct assistant professor in The Ohio State University College of Nursing, precepting pediatric nurse practitioner students and working with family nurse practitioner fellows to increase their pediatric experience. I was honored to be recognized as the College of Nursing’s pediatric nurse practitioner preceptor of the year in 2023. I also serve on the APP Clinical Advancement Program committee and the NP Council here at Ohio State, and I am a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and friends and being outside. I enjoy reading, running, competing in triathlons and traveling.
