As an orthopedic surgeon at Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in treating foot and ankle injuries, deformities and disorders. I practice medicine because I enjoy interacting with people and overcoming the medical challenges that each patient presents.

For me, the bottom line is to ensure that every one of my patients is treated as I would want a member of my family treated. I find that by always keeping this in the back of my mind, it's hard to go wrong.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and it's one of my favorite parts about working at Ohio State. Interacting with residents and medical students helps keep me sharp and ensures that my patients are always receiving the best possible care.

In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my family.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies, etc. because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Alexander has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies, etc. If you have questions about how these relationships are monitored by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, please contact our Compliance Office at 614-293-7802.
