Biography
I am Jaclyn Piening, DPT, PT, and I specialize in neurologic physical therapy and inpatient rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My physical therapy practice focuses on helping patients regain mobility, function and independence following neurological illness or injury.
As an inpatient physical therapist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I work closely with patients throughout their recoveries, creating individualized treatment plans aligned with their goals and abilities. My approach to care emphasizes evidence-based rehabilitation, patient education and collaboration to help patients achieve meaningful progress during their hospital stay.
I am a board-certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy (NCS), with advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with neurological conditions. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and completed a physical therapy neurologic residency at The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. This shaped my commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and helping individuals maximize their functional potential.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
