Jacqueline King, APRN-CNP

About Me

I am a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in comprehensive women’s health, with an emphasis on reproductive health care. My role involves performing annual preventive care exams and gynecologic procedures, including Pap smears and endometrial biopsies, and providing prenatal and postnatal care. I offer contraception counseling and perform insertion and removal of intrauterine devices. I also address breast concerns, help patients navigate menopause and also provide gender-affirming care.

I chose this specialty because I am passionate about providing high-quality, empathetic care to patients of all ages, especially for teens and young adults often receiving their first exams. Patients may feel nervous about annual gynecological exams, and it is important to me to provide safe and trauma-informed care to every person who comes to see me. I always listen to my patients to understand their concerns, and I personalize the care to align with their individual needs.

My previous experience includes time spent working in public health, which allowed me to see patients from all walks of life with various educational and social backgrounds. My patients can rely on me to thoroughly explain their conditions and treatment options, and trust that I will take the time to answer their questions.

I appreciate the commitment to an evidence-based approach here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where we truly put each patient’s needs first. It’s a privilege to share my expertise with the next generation of providers in my role as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, traveling, reading and exercising.
