Biography

As a neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I see patients for a variety of neurologic disorders including nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) due to diabetes and other causes, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome and muscle weakness.

I take the time to ask many questions and to perform a careful exam on my patients. I find it important to help my patients understand their condition because unanswered questions can sometimes be as distressing as symptoms. In the case of neuropathy pain, an understanding of factors that influence pain and possible treatments (and their limitations) can often be helpful.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, my role includes helping to educate the next generation of physicians. I am a clinical assistant professor of Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Dr Lee is exceptional. In my years working in medicine and through my lupus and Sjogrens disease journey, I have never met or had the experience of a doctor, let alone a specialist, take the time and compassion that Dr Lee had during our visit. His testing and diagnosis was thorough and he explained every step and his conclusions. He listened to my symptoms and concerns and took the time to explain every single one of them. We autoimmune sufferers have often been ignored or dismissed for many years. Having him spend this time with me almost made me cry. I felt heard and cared for!! I am certain the money changers would like him to be faster. But, I feel neurology is complex and deserves this level of care. Give the man a raise!! I will follow him if he ever lift!!
