Biography
As a neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I see patients for a variety of neurologic disorders including nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) due to diabetes and other causes, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome and muscle weakness.
I take the time to ask many questions and to perform a careful exam on my patients. I find it important to help my patients understand their condition because unanswered questions can sometimes be as distressing as symptoms. In the case of neuropathy pain, an understanding of factors that influence pain and possible treatments (and their limitations) can often be helpful.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, my role includes helping to educate the next generation of physicians. I am a clinical assistant professor of Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Lee was absolutely amazing! I've never had a doctor take so much time listening to my concerns and answering my questions. He did a thorough assessment, and explained my plan of care. He was kind and caring. My husband and I were so impressed. He definitely an asset to OSU. What a blessing!

Provider took the time to listen to my concerns and ask questions. Provider was calm, kind, polite and respectful. However, it still didn't seem like they knew how to figure out what was wrong with me or how to get better. They didn't suggest consulting with other specialists in different areas to try and pinpoint the source of the problem. Despite me waiting for this long-awaited appointment for several months and despite my efforts to prepare every piece of information I have to present to the provider, including a document I prepared ahead of time explaining my situation in great detail, at the time of the appointment, they did not seem to be able to connect the dots. I found this aspect to be their greatest weakness in being able to offer some help for my situation. I have no doubt this provider can offer great care when presented with all the facts and data and when the patient's situation is clear and simple. Unfortunately, my condition is not so easy to solve, as no doctor is yet to figure it out.
