About Me

As a physician specializing in family medicine, I spend a great deal of time focusing on pediatric care as well as newborn and women's health. I have closely devoted myself to all areas of practice in family medicine, but I find that pediatric care, newborn’s health and women’s health are a few areas that require a special emphasis. I work hard to deliver the best quality of individualized patient treatment. My highest priority is to promote good health and satisfaction for all my patients.

I thoroughly enjoy the close relationships I have developed with my colleagues and especially with my patients. It’s very rewarding to help each one through all the stages of life. I believe that having the opportunity to know my patients and their families on a more personal level can give way to more comprehensive and compassionate healthcare.

My favorite part about working at Ohio State is our excellent support staff, which is an integral piece of our patient care. From the clinical pharmacists who help with medication management, to the dieticians who work with patients to improve their nutrition, to the social workers who help patients with financial or psychological needs, we all work collectively to provide the best possible patient care.

In my free time I like to travel, read, attend church, enjoy the outdoors and spend time with my family and friends.

101 Patient Comments

Reviewed on Feb 12, 2019

I really like Dr. Mason and am always happy with the appointment. I would have rated her a 10 if I did not always have to wait. I was 20 minutes ahead of schedule, taken back 5 minutes before appointment and then had to wait over 30 minutes for her to come in to the room. This is typical of each appointment, even though she only spends less than 10 minutes with me, which I am perfectly fine with, but the extra wait time gets frustrating.
