About Me

As a physician specializing in family medicine, I spend a great deal of time focusing on pediatric care as well as newborn and women's health. I have closely devoted myself to all areas of practice in family medicine, but I find that pediatric care, newborn’s health and women’s health are a few areas that require a special emphasis. I work hard to deliver the best quality of individualized patient treatment. My highest priority is to promote good health and satisfaction for all my patients.

I thoroughly enjoy the close relationships I have developed with my colleagues and especially with my patients. It’s very rewarding to help each one through all the stages of life. I believe that having the opportunity to know my patients and their families on a more personal level can give way to more comprehensive and compassionate health care.

My favorite part about working at Ohio State is our excellent support staff, which is an integral piece of our patient care. From the clinical pharmacists who help with medication management, to the dieticians who work with patients to improve their nutrition, to the social workers who help patients with financial or psychological needs, we all work collectively to provide the best possible patient care.

In my free time I like to travel, read, attend church, enjoy the outdoors and spend time with my family and friends.

We love Dr. Mason! She spent a good time w/us. She explained to my daughter the importance of her visit in a language that she could understand.

Without Dr. Mason's guidance I would not have found a Neurosurgeon who performed a Craniotomy to remove a Meningioma. Post surgery I ended up with a Blood Clot and a skin rash, which was the purpose of this appointment. Dr. Mason spent a significant amount of time with me covering and understanding how I felt post surgery, understanding the blood clot and diagnosing the skin rash and providing a treatment plan.
