Jason Patterson, APRN-CNP

About Me

I’m a certified nurse practitioner in the Division of Medical Oncology at The James. I received my Master of Science from The Ohio State University and have worked at the OSUCCC – James since 2006, where I currently treat patients with thoracic cancers such as mesothelioma and lung cancer. I also have eight years of experience treating acute and chronic leukemias.

At The James, we take a multidisciplinary approach with our patients and work closely with surgery, pulmonary, radiation oncology and radiology specialists to individualize care for each and every one of our patients. Lung cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer (excluding skin cancer) in both men and women in the United States and is the number one cause of cancer deaths.

Working to decrease prevalence of this disease and improve outcomes is vitally important to me and my patients, so I am thankful to be in a position to help during their journey and have access to the vast array of specialists at the OSUCCC – James who can provide the best care possible.
