Biography
I am a board-certified neurologist and epileptologist, with specialized expertise in epilepsy surgery, stereoelectroencephalography (Stereo-EEG) and in deep brain stimulation for the management of drug or medication-resistant epilepsy. As medical director of the Epilepsy Surgery Program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I have led the development of advanced Stereo-EEG and EEG source imaging programs, integrating innovative multimodal neuroimaging and surgical planning workflows.
My clinical interests focus on improving surgical outcomes for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy through innovative intracranial monitoring techniques and network-based analysis of epileptogenic zones.

My research interests focus on improving surgical outcomes for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy through innovative intracranial monitoring techniques and network-based analysis of epileptogenic zones.
I serve as co-chair of the American Stereo-EEG Consortium, and I also am on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology. As a frequently invited speaker at national and international meetings, I am recognized for my contributions to advancing the science and practice of modern epilepsy surgery.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. I can't express enough appreciation for Dr. Singh and his care he has provided for me during my initial visit, aftercare and communication during this new onset of my medical condition and care. Epilepsy is very hard to deal with as it was a rapid onset for me at 44 years old. Until I had my visit, I was in a stage of denial due to care from another provider. Dr. Singh took his time and explained every step, stage and process during this initial visit. It helps to digest this new condition when you have a good, thorough, compassionate doctor. And he definitely has been a blessing in all of this.
Dr. Singh is an amazing doctor and because of his expertise and concern regarding my medical history I am feeling better than I have in years.

Doctor Singh was excellent. Showed concern for my medical past and current status and explained my past seizure and how they work better than any of my past neuros.
Dr. Singh far exceeded all of my expectations. He was so kind, thoughtful and explained everything to me in a way that I would understand it. He answered all of my questions and took all the time I needed. He is so intelligent and confident (in a good way) and Im so thankful for him.
Doctor was very nice and had a happy personality. Spent a lot of time with my husband and I (the patient) He listens and repeats what you said. Asks many valuable questions. Went over important concepts for epileptics. I felt like he got to know the patient though that was in the room.
Dr. Singh is an amazing physician. He listens well to my concerns and provides excellent feedback and includes me in his plan of care. When I am in the exam room, I don't feel rushed or like he's running behind and trying to get to the next patient. At the end of my appointment, he walks me to the MA who checks me out and makes my next appointment. I have never had such excellent care. It feels like I am a VIP and the only patient in the clinic.
I have only positive things to say about Dr Singh. He listened to every concern I had and explained everything to me very thoroughly. Never once did I feel uncomfortable during my exam or visit. Dr Singh was excellent with providing me with a detailed treatment plan for my epilepsy. He also made it known that he would be available at anytime if I had any problems regarding my medications or seizures.
