Dr. Wenske listens and takes his time with me. He tries to understand where I'm coming from concerning my bowel disease

  • Reviewed on Nov 22, 2019

He was 40 minutes late for a 9:00 AM appointment. He did not acknowledge he left us waiting for 40 minutes. He hadn't reviewed our chart. He asked us point blank how we ended up in his office instead of infectious disease (in which we were referred to GI). He talked down to us. He didn't listen to concerns. When the exam got so bad, I suggested we end appt. He said, "I agree" and got up and left exam room. He left us standing there with no instructions.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
