About Me
As a cardiology nurse practitioner, I specialize in managing patients with heart failure and those who have undergone heart transplantation. I primarily see patients in the outpatient clinic setting for office visits. I enjoy educating patients and helping them to make better lifestyle choices, which can help improve their condition and quality of life.
I love cardiology – the medications, treatments and patient education are truly exciting and I enjoy being able to offer these options to patients. The ongoing advancements in this field make it an exciting time to be a medical provider.
The best part about working at Ohio State is that we are always quick to adopt the current guidelines and practices in order to stay on the cutting edge of healthcare. It’s great to work in an academic medical center with a group that works well as a team. There’s always someone around who is willing to teach and answer questions.
In my free time, I enjoy attending group fitness classes, running, playing softball, hiking, traveling, reading and spending time with my family and dogs.
