I chose to be a nurse practitioner in urology to help patients live their best & healthiest lives. I like to take the time to understand the patients' concerns during our visit and tailor their care to address their personal needs.
I work with the general urology team and diagnoses I most commonly see include recurrent urinary tract infections, hematuria, pelvic floor dysfunction, prostatitis, lower urinary tract symptoms, benign prostatic hyperplasia & overactive bladder.
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family & friends, play with my dog & travel.

Not only was nurse practitioner Perkins helping with my problem with peeing. She listened to a few other things I had to say. And help me to think about moving in a positive direction. I'm sure she wasn't expecting some of the things I had to say. But that day she was worth her wait in gold. So I listen closely thank you

Noted that I have had a previous history of bladder not emptying fully, but confirmed that it was emptying well this time. Agreed that there was no need for a follow-up visit, but mentioned that I could call if problems were noted.
