Biography
I serve as division director of Medical Dermatology and as director of the Dermatology Clinical Trials Unit at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. I also lead our Dermatology Research Fellowship and co-direct the Dermatology-Rheumatology Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Clinic, where I collaborate across specialties to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex conditions.
As a dermatologist, I am passionate about helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes through evidence-based, individualized care. I believe in taking the time to understand each patient's unique needs and goals so we can work together to develop an effective treatment plan tailored to their condition.
My clinical interests include complex medical conditions such as psoriasis, hidradenitis and blistering diseases. Additionally, I provide care for general dermatology concerns including acne, skin cancer screenings, skin cancers and rashes.
Research is an important part of my practice because it allows me to help advance new treatment options for patients. By leading clinical trials and participating in innovative research, I strive to bring the latest therapeutic advances to the people I serve while maintaining the highest standards of patient-centered care.

Academics and research
I specialize in medical dermatology and inflammatory skin diseases. My research and academic interests focus on advancing the understanding, diagnosis and management of conditions including bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, lichen planus and dermatitis.
As a dermatologist and educator, I am committed to improving care for patients with complex dermatologic conditions while advancing education and scholarship in dermatology. My work centers on medical dermatology, with a particular interest in diseases that affect patients' quality of life and require multidisciplinary, evidence-based care.
Education is a core part of my academic mission. I serve as vice chair of education in the Department of Dermatology and as division director of Medical Dermatology. In these roles, I help support the education and professional development of medical students, residents and trainees while fostering learning environments that encourage clinical excellence, curiosity and lifelong learning.
Through my clinical, educational and academic efforts, I strive to advance the field of dermatology and contribute to the training of the next generation of physicians and physician-scientists.
