About Me

As a general internist, I treat an array of chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes and heart failure. I also manage a variety of acute complaints on a daily basis. I enjoy providing patient centered care that empowers patients to be active partners in the management of their chronic health conditions.

In addition to clinical care, I am actively involved in an assortment of quality improvement initiatives for the Division of General Internal Medicine as the lead physician for our practice, including implementing novel modes of care.

Growing up in Columbus, I’ve always understood how important the university is to our community. It’s exciting to be part of an organization that improves the health and quality of life of those who live and work in central Ohio. I love working in an academic environment as well as the opportunity to provide quality medical care.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. I exercise regularly and participate in local endurance sports, including the Tri Fit Challenge. I also love to hike, travel and golf when I have the chance.

All experiences always GOOD.

Dr. Grandominico greeted me with a smile and a handshake. She asked me about my social history...remembering where I worked and details about my wife and children. We covered all aspects of my medical history in a very relaxed and conversational style. She addressed my exercise habits, and she showed interest and empathy by giving me tips from her own experience with exercise. This allowed me to focus on how to avoid exercise related aches and pains.

Dr. Grandominco is the perfect physician. I scheduled to see her because I am moving. She has been so supportive and helpful to me over the last couple of years in more ways than my physical health. I wanted to say goodby. I will miss her more than I can say! She is a tremendous asset to OSU. Make sure you keep her!

very accepting taking me back as a patient after I hadn't seen her for 5 years as I hadn't really needed a pcp during this time frame but I wanted to make sure I was reestablished

Dr. G. is always fully attentive. She's direct but friendly and I feel as if she completely understands my condition and that I know what to do.

Dr. Grandominico has grown so much since first becoming my PCP. I wouldn't want anyone else to be my PCP. She is very understanding and speaks honestly when I ask her questions, which I very much appreciate.
