Primary Care - General Internal Medicine
Department: Internal Medicine
As a general internist, I treat an array of chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes and heart failure. I also manage a variety of acute complaints on a daily basis. I enjoy providing patient centered care that empowers patients to be active partners in the management of their chronic health conditions.
In addition to clinical care, I am actively involved in an assortment of quality improvement initiatives for the Division of General Internal Medicine as the lead physician for our practice, including implementing novel modes of care.
Growing up in Columbus, I’ve always understood how important the university is to our community. It’s exciting to be part of an organization that improves the health and quality of life of those who live and work in central Ohio. I love working in an academic environment as well as the opportunity to provide quality medical care.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. I exercise regularly and participate in local endurance sports, including the Tri Fit Challenge. I also love to hike, travel and golf when I have the chance.

Relatable, easy to interact with, genuine
I've been with Dr Grandiminico for quite a few years. I totally respect her and the knowledge she has. I would hate to have to see another doctor.

Excellent
Her care was professional, knowledgeable and caring.
Always personable and addresses any questions I have.
My care provider spend time to answer my questions.
She is professional and caring. Only suggestion would be to be more informed on new findings and alternative meds to cure-heal not just fix symptoms of major illnesses like type 2 diabetes, neuropathy, difficulty breathing with sleep apnea, troublesome vaccines issues. She good with med school info but not always up to date on latest findings. She is very conservative and seems to stick to only what medicare will pay for. I would like to hear more info on herbal solutions and new findings as well as the basic med school info from 10 to 15 years ago.
Saw me within 5 minutes of my arrival. Was prepared and familiar with my health issues
