About Me
I’m a neurosurgeon specializing in the surgical management of brain tumor patients, associated with one of the cerebral spinal fluid pathologies such as hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation and intracranial hypertension. I also help surgically manage patients with trigeminal neuralgia.
I received my medical degree from the University of Iowa. I completed my residency at The Ohio State University and received post-residency training at The Royal London Hospital. I have experience in most areas of neurosurgery. I have been a neurosurgeon at Ohio State in the Department of Neurosurgery since 1991. I also serve as an associate professor of clinical neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Radiology, Department of Radiation Oncology and Department of Otolaryngology.
The best part of working at The Ohio State University is the chance to work with our great health care teams who are committed to offering the highest quality of care. My goal is to increase patients’ understanding of their conditions and to help them make the best decisions possible regarding their care. The Ohio State University gives me the resources and collaboration I need to serve my patients.

Consulting and Related Relationships
