Biography
I am Jordan Soltau, PT, DPT, and as a physical therapist I specialize in pelvic floor dysfunction, perinatal rehabilitation and women's health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My physical therapy practice focuses on pelvic health, postpartum recovery and trauma-informed physical therapy care.
I chose a career in pelvic health physical therapy because pelvic dysfunction is deeply personal, often stigmatized and frequently overlooked, particularly in historically underserved communities. I understand the systemic disparities, dismissals, and cultural barriers that many patients encounter when navigating healthcare. My goal is to help bridge those gaps through culturally sensitive, evidence-based, inclusive and compassionate care.
In my practice, I create a safe, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected and supported. Pelvic health conditions can affect quality of life, intimate health and daily function in meaningful ways. I believe patient education is an essential part of treatment, and I work closely with each patient to help them better understand their condition and take an active role in their recovery.
My clinical interests include treating pelvic floor dysfunctions such as dyspareunia, vaginismus, chronic pelvic pain and urinary dysfunction. I also provide antepartum and postpartum rehabilitation, scar tissue management following cesarean delivery and perineal tears, and guidance for a safe return to exercise after pregnancy.
I am committed to providing consensual, trauma-informed care during both internal and external pelvic health evaluations. By prioritizing patient autonomy, comfort and pacing, I strive to create a supportive experience that empowers patients throughout their rehabilitation.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
