Biography

As a certified nurse practitioner and health coach, I specialize in providing whole-person wellness care at Ohio State Integrative Health. I regularly treat patients for gastrointestinal disorders and mental health concerns, as well as offering cardiometabolic health and women’s health services. I am passionate about helping to advance our understanding of how the gut microbiota impacts other body systems including the brain, hormones, metabolism and skin.

When patients come to see me, they can expect a holistic approach as we work together to optimize their health and achieve their goals. My approach to care was influenced by my previous work as a school counselor, where I helped adolescents manage social and emotional barriers and helped prepare them for college and careers. I also led schoolwide health initiatives.

When I’m not working, I enjoy quality time with my family, including hiking with my husband and dogs. I like cooking, strength training, practicing yoga and reading mysteries.
