Biography
As a consultation-liaison psychiatrist, I specialize in delivering behavioral health care to patients with medically complex conditions. I am double board-certified in general psychiatry and consultation-liaison psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
I am a faculty member on the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry service at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where I provide psychiatric consultation for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. I also serve as a consulting psychiatrist for the Executive Health Program, partnering with high-performing individuals to enhance well-being and support success in demanding professional and leadership roles.
I am deeply committed to medical education and mentorship. As psychiatry clerkship director at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, I guide and teach future physicians. I am also passionate about advancing public understanding of mental health and regularly speak to diverse audiences on these topics.
I have a strong interest in the therapeutic role of music. I bring live guitar and vocal performances to hospitalized patients, using music to foster connection, comfort, and emotional healing.
Outside of work, I enjoy sports and spending time with friends and family.
