As an obstetrician and gynecologist, I believe in meeting patients where they are to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care. My patients can trust me to be their advocate and I bring compassion, honesty, respect and confidentiality to every encounter.
I provide well-person exams, treat patients during pregnancy and offer contraceptive care. I perform minimally invasive gynecological surgical procedures and hysterectomies and treat patients for conditions such as endometriosis and sexual dysfunction.
My clinical areas of specialty include LGBTQ+ care. I provide general gynecologic care for gender-diverse patients and hormone replacement therapies for gender affirmation. My research interests include post-operative outcomes for gender-affirming hysterectomy.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and especially the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is like a family. The pursuit of excellence in patient care is inspiring, and I appreciate the support I’ve received both personally and professionally from my colleagues. There is no better place to work. I’m also proud to help train medical students and resident physicians in my role as an assistant professor.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my partner, Kenneth, and our hairless cats. I also enjoy political activism and volunteering, conservation, aquariums, cocktails, vacationing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Very professional and caring
The doctor is very attentive to my concerns. He explains all the reasons for treatment options in a clear and understandable fashion.
Dr Turner is magical and the bar that all physicians should aim for! I've never felt so seen and heard by a doctor and I'm 45yrs old.

I am so impressed and so comfortable with Dr Turner and his staff that I have recommended him to 2 other family members with some complex issues they need assistance with. I talked to him briefly about them and he told me he'd be happy to see them. He gives time and attention to his patients. I wish I had a PCP like him. Mine definitely is not.
