About Me
As a cardiologist, I specialize in cardiovascular imaging and work closely with my patients to formulate individualized care plans with special consideration for their cardiovascular health. I treat numerous heart conditions including coronary artery disease, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and women’s heart disease. It’s important for my patients to be actively involved in their own care, so I encourage them to ask questions and stay involved. I begin the process of treatment by addressing any concerns that my patients or their family may have, before conducting a thorough evaluation of their cardiovascular health.
What I love most about The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team to advance patient care through clinical and research endeavors.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my son and husband, gardening and cooking.

All good
D. Zareba is a valued member of my health care team!
Dr. Zareba is OUTSTANDING. She took so much time with me to explain answers to all of my questions about starting a statin. She even pulled up online research to support her answers and gave me time to scan the information to ease my concerns. I've also used OSU MyChart to ask questions during my treatment journey and Dr. Zareba is EXTREMELY prompt, thorough, and helpful with her responses! She even addressed one of my concerns by calling me to speak in person about my question while she was on her family vacation. That is BEYOND outstanding care!
The experience was all good the staff and Dr. Were very kind and efficient!
I was very happy with the time spent with me and how things were explained.
Dr z is an amazing doctor! She is respectful responsible extremely thorough extremely knowledgeable especially about my specific needs and medical situation and she looks at all angles and avenues that affect it and how to treat it best. I am extremely pleased with her as a doctor I do not think I have seen as many doctors as good as her in my life experience. I highly recommend her to anyone and hope she's six round long enough that I can stay with her for many years.
Dr. Zareba Is hands down the most genuine person and caring physician I have ever met. Easy to talk to and truly listens. Thank you.

Pleasant, knowledgeable, very thorough, ordered tests, responded when the first one was resulted. We don't always agree on having certain tests run, but I feel my wishes are respected.
