Biography
I am a board-certified cardiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, coronary artery disease and heart failure. My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter.
I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. I felt Dr. Gil articulated my condition as an 81 year old woman very clearly. She answered my questions. She explained procedures that had been done on me two times earlier in a way that I now understand those procedures and what precipitated their having to be done. She is a natural teacher.In demeanor, she is very sensible but not especially warm. This was my first visit to Dr. Gil having had Dr. John Larry for the past 25+ years. So I will need to learn how we work together going forward.
