About Me

I am a board-certified nurse practitioner with the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I care for patients with anorectal issues including hemorrhoids, anal fissures and rectal prolapse. I also specialize in treating pelvic floor disorders such as chronic constipation and fecal incontinence.

These types of medical conditions can cause significant distress, and it’s common for people to feel shy about discussing them. My patients can trust that I will do everything possible to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I have a genuine interest in helping others and I always strive to make my patients feel seen, heard and empowered.

My patients can rely on me as a supportive partner. I am proud to be available to respond to patients' questions and concerns promptly. I truly enjoy what I do and as my father always told me growing up, "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.”

I began my health care career as a nurse at The James in Surgical Oncology, and I credit that fast-paced environment and diverse patient population with helping me learn and grow as a health care provider and as a person. In my time here at Ohio State, I’ve had the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams and form relationships with faculty and staff across various specialties. I am incredibly passionate about learning and often joke that if I could be in school for the rest of my life, I gladly would.

Outside of work, I have two dogs that are my world, Dot and Willow. I also enjoy spending time with friends and cheering on the Ohio State football team and the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers.
