Biography
I am a nurse practitioner in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at The James. I received my bachelor’s in nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and my master’s in nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago. Prior to my arrival at Ohio State, I helped open an oncology urgent care at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where I worked predominantly in the emergency department and urgent care setting.
I have experience taking care of the full spectrum of patient populations, but I am particularly drawn to caring for oncology patients due to their strength, resilience and determination to get better. Patients are going through so much when receiving cancer treatment, and at The James, we have unlimited resources to help our patients in whatever way possible because even the smallest request can make a big difference in their outcome.
It’s this patient-centered approach, as well as the teamwork involved in delivering such quality care, that makes the OSUCCC – James such a great place to work. Everyone is focused on providing top-notch care to our patients as we strive toward a cancer-free world.
