Biography
I am Katherine Waugh, LISW, a licensed independent social worker (LISW), and I specialize in depression and behavioral healthcare at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My practice focuses on providing social work services and helping individuals manage depression through compassionate, patient-centered support.
As an LISW, I am committed to creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood and empowered in their care. I work collaboratively with each person to develop strategies that support their emotional well-being, resilience and recovery.
I am a member of the Depression Recovery Center at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, where I help patients navigate the challenges of depression and work toward meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health. My approach is centered on understanding each patient's unique experiences and goals while providing evidence-based support tailored to their needs.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University College of Social Work.
