Physical Therapist
I am a physical therapist at the Ohio State University Sports Medicine department. I received my B.S in athletic training from Slippery Rock University in 2009 and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2013. Following graduation, I completed a sports physical therapy residency at The Ohio State University. In 2015 I became a board-certified specialist in sports Physical Therapy. I am an active member of OSU’s Barbell Athlete Performance Team, the Endurance Medicine Team, and Knee Outcome Team.
During my tenure as a Certified Athletic Trainer and sports Physical Therapist I have worked with countless athletic teams at varied levels of competition. I have extensive experience in managing athletes through the continuum of care from on-field injury to return to sport. Clinically, I have a special interest in treating the knee, weightlifting athletes, and endurance athletes. My personal interest in sports began in youth with gymnastics, soccer, and track and field and grew through college while play rugby at Slippery Rock University. As an adult, I have become a Crossfit/weightlifting athlete. I love to blend my personal passion of fitness and weightlifting with my professional knowledge of biomechanics, injury management, load modifications, and training principles.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Weber has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
