Biography

I am Katie Krile, DPT, PT, and I specialize in inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My physical therapy practice focuses on helping hospitalized patients improve mobility, restore function and achieve their highest level of independence during recovery.

As a physical therapist with the inpatient rehabilitation team at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I work closely with patients who are recovering from illness, injury or complex medical conditions. I provide individualized, evidence-based care that supports each patient's goals and helps them safely return to daily activities.

My approach centers on understanding each person's unique needs and developing treatment plans that promote strength, mobility, confidence and long-term function. I value partnering with patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process to help achieve meaningful outcomes.

I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and completed a Geriatric Physical Therapy Residency at The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, experiences that helped shape my commitment to rehabilitation and patient-centered care.

Consulting and related relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 11/3/2025, Katie Krile has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
