About Me
I am a primary care physician specializing in care for older adults. I treat acute illnesses and injuries, manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and coronary artery disease, address mental health concerns and offer advance care planning services.
I practice an evidence-based, patient-centered approach with care plans that are tailored to each person’s unique goals and values. In my practice, I also work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive the best comprehensive care available.
I strive to help my patients lead high-quality lives for as long as possible. I emphasize preventative medicine and work collaboratively with each patient to help them avoid geriatric syndromes that lead to issues such as cognitive impairment and increased risk of falls. I build genuine relationships and enjoy hearing about my patients’ lives, like their recent travels and stories about their children and grandchildren.
I am passionate about helping educate the next generation of physicians and I am a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I also teach residents. I am the director of the Medicine-Geriatrics Integrated Training Program, and the core liaison between Geriatrics and the Internal Medicine Residency Program. I am also the assistant program director of the Geriatrics Fellowship.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Sreevalsan has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Thorough discussion regarding my health condition and received an appropriate prescription. Feedback from bloodwork results was quick.

I have only seen Dr Sreevlenson a couple of times and I love how she listens and is very good about explaining things. She seems to really care about my well being and that's what I was looking for in a health care provider.
She instantly made things much better with her advice and strategies for living.
Dr Sreevalsan was very attentive and listened closely to what I had to say. We discussed issues and various meds and she wrote me prescriptions

She is a wonderful doctor, good listener, compassionate, knowledgeable, and expert. She is a lovely person, as well.
This was the first time I'd met Dr. Sreevalsan. I found her to be an outstanding physician. She listened to me and showed the utmost respect for me as I shared concerns.
Dr. Sreevalsan is a very intelligent, kind and caring physician. She has good attention to details. She does not make me feel rushed and I feel comfortable talking with her. Although I have only been with her for a little over a year, I have appreciated greatly how quickly she has come up to speed with my health history and sorting out what I need to be doing to take care of myself. Without her I would not be undergoing the current evaluation of my heart and need for apppropriate medication or other treatment. I emailed the office throughout the year and she always responds promptly.
Excellent.
Good bedside manner, knowledgeable, very thorough & explained everything very well.

Dr. Did a very minimal exam of my left ear which had suddenly gone deaf a few days earlier. That was it!!!!!Send "I have no idea what the problem is".
First visit with this doctor and this location.
This was my first appointment with this provider. It was a very good first appointment.
Good.
Dr Sreevalsan is absolutely the best physician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. A "good doctor" is one who demonstrates care and compassion. Almost all physicians have adequate knowledge, it's the "bedside manner" that separates a great doctor from the rest. Dr Sree was outstanding and I feel fortunate to have her as my doctor.
Dr Kavya is very good!
