Biography

I serve as the physician assistant for the growing Neuroplastic Surgery Program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Within this role, I routinely assist with scalp and skull reconstruction surgeries, taking care of patients both in the clinic as well as assisting in the operating room. In my role, I also work regularly within the realm of general plastic surgery, assisting with a broad variety of reconstructive procedures as a result of trauma, infection, congenital anomalies, or cancer. Some procedures I frequently aid include breast reductions, gender-affirming top surgeries, facial trauma repair, and complex surgical closures.

When patients come to see me, they can trust that I will provide a judgment-free, safe space where their individual concerns are heard and valued. I also want to inspire my patients to play an active role in their own treatment and recovery plans. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to be a consistent and familiar face to my patients, as I am involved in their care before, during, and after surgery.

I’m forever inspired working for such an innovative field of medicine. There is nothing better than having a job where I get to help restore form and function to the body and improve quality of life for patients each and every day. We often practice multidisciplinary care and collaborate with additional surgical specialties to optimize patient outcomes, truly functioning as a dynamic team.
