I became a clinical health psychologist because I am passionate about helping each patient improve their quality of life. My goal is to teach people the skills they need to know so that they are better equipped to handle life’s challenges without needing to be in therapy for their entire lives.
I see patients for conditions such as anxiety and depression and address sleep issues. I also provide personality and ADHD assessments and evaluate patients who are considering bariatric surgery. In addition, I am a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, and I am a certified grief specialist.
I love that my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center includes helping to train the next generation of clinicians. Teaching helps me look at things from different perspectives and stay current with research opportunities. I have previously published a chapter in the book Psychology of Mindfulness and my work has been featured in the Cambridge Dictionary of Psychology.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
