About Me
I became a clinical health psychologist because I am passionate about helping each patient improve their quality of life. My goal is to teach people the skills they need to know so that they are better equipped to handle life’s challenges without needing to be in therapy for their entire lives.
I see patients for conditions such as anxiety and depression and address sleep issues. I also provide personality and ADHD assessments and evaluate patients who are considering bariatric surgery. In addition, I am a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, and I am a certified grief specialist.
I love that my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center includes helping to train the next generation of clinicians. Teaching helps me look at things from different perspectives and stay current with research opportunities. I have previously published a chapter in the book Psychology of Mindfulness and my work has been featured in the Cambridge Dictionary of Psychology.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Drayer has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
She listened to me. She understood the anguish I feel regarding the passing of my husband
I appreciate Dr Drayer. She's great!
I brought my sister along with me to provide a second set of ears. Doctor Drayer welcome to her and included her fully as an important part of our counseling session.
Dr. Drayer is great
She's very helpful in guiding me to my own answers about my mental health.
All good. We have a good rapport and she gives honest feedback for my questions.
Good- provider looked up resources outside of our appointment for me to look intoBad- I feel provider wastes a good bit of our time looking up and reading the entirety of websites, book entries. I feel provider should be able to recall at least some information, but every question I ask gets looked up
