Biography
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for patients undergoing neurological procedures. My role in the Department of Neurological Surgery includes assisting surgeons as they implant neuromodulation devices, which are used to help treat movement disorders, chronic pain, and conditions such as epilepsy. I commonly see patients for deep brain and vagus nerve stimulation, and patients experiencing failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS).
My career is very rewarding because I get to play a role in helping patients achieve a higher quality of life. I am passionate about providing the best care possible, and it’s a privilege to work alongside such an exceptional team here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

She was very nice and concerned for how much pain she was putting me through. She was pulling out staples from my surgery. She was very nice, asked me two times if she needed to stop to give me a break and (there was a whole lot of them in my head). She could feel when they hurt a little by how hard she had to pull. She was nice.
He was friendly and explained the procedure he was going to perform and everything that goes with it.
I cannot say enough good about all of OSU staff that I have encountered. Truly top notch care that has somewhat restored my faith in the medical system!
