About Me
I became an obstetrician-gynecologist because I am passionate about providing holistic care to women throughout their lifespan, and I love the relationships I’m able to build with patients and families. I consider it an honor to celebrate with my patients during the best times of their lives and provide crucial support during some of the worst times too.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I provide full-scope obstetric and gynecological care. I guide patients through each stage of their pregnancies and do all I can to help them achieve a healthy birth. I am interested in fourth trimester care, perinatal mental health, and adolescent care. I also treat patients for common gynecological conditions including infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and abnormal bleeding.
I strive to create a supportive environment where patients feel safe, respected and heard. I emphasize whole-person care that addresses physical, mental and emotional needs. My goal is to ensure my patients are well educated about their options so they can feel empowered to make the best choices for their unique situations.
My research interests include quality improvement interventions aimed at enhancing labor and delivery safety while reducing maternal morbidity and mortality rates. Most recently, I served as a lead physician for a statewide initiative aimed at reducing maternal morbidity and mortality related to hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. I am also interested in strategies to improve perinatal and postpartum mental health, as well as advocacy work with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
I trained at The Ohio State University during my residency, and I am thrilled to return home. Ohio State is a fantastic institution dedicated to excellent patient care, and my colleagues in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are some of the kindest and most dedicated providers I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
I am excited to help educate the next generation of physicians as an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine through mentoring of medical students and residents. I have also been inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, an organization that recognizes physician educators.
Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, traveling, exploring Columbus with my husband and two sons, and cheering on the Buckeyes.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Tucker has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
