Biography
As a family medicine physician, I treat patients of all ages and specialize in the management of chronic diseases. I take a comprehensive approach to patient care and believe in helping patients thoroughly understand their condition and encourage them to engage in healthy lifestyles and promote their well-being.
I treat my patients like they are partners with me in their care. We work together as a team to address their concerns and make choices that will enable them to live their best possible lives. I believe wholeheartedly that food is medicine, that patients can improve a lot of their chronic diseases with lifestyle changes, and I have a passion for nutrition coaching and whole food, plant-based diets.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I collaborate with a team of providers who are dedicated to serving our community. The people are what makes the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center a great place to work, and because we’re all passionate about our jobs, we’re able to create a friendly and caring environment for our patients.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Understood my past records and this was a new patient visit. Was very good at explaining things to me and treated me very well. Was so refreshing to have a Dr listen to me and want to help without pushing a prescription on me

She was very thorough, went over all my meds/issues, and addressed any concerns. Great bedside manner, friendly and approachable.

First thing to this office to establish care and I am very pleased. Really liked Dr. Binau and the nursing stay and especially loved that Dr. Binau messaged me on Mychart the following day saying it was nice to meet me and informing me of my blood test results. Was Really impressed by then. Have recommended this office to a few friends in the area already.

Care was slightly rushed due to end of day. This was an initial visit and some benchmark testing was not offered. A few points of concern were listed and follow up appointments were not made
