Biography
As a family medicine physician, I treat patients of all ages and specialize in the management of chronic diseases. I take a comprehensive approach to patient care and believe in helping patients thoroughly understand their condition and encourage them to engage in healthy lifestyles and promote their well-being.
I treat my patients like they are partners with me in their care. We work together as a team to address their concerns and make choices that will enable them to live their best possible lives. I believe wholeheartedly that food is medicine, that patients can improve a lot of their chronic diseases with lifestyle changes, and I have a passion for nutrition coaching and whole food, plant-based diets.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I collaborate with a team of providers who are dedicated to serving our community. The people are what makes the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center a great place to work, and because we’re all passionate about our jobs, we’re able to create a friendly and caring environment for our patients.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Kelsey Binau has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Dr Binau was very thorough, she reviewed previous labs and offered multiple options for my overall healthcare. Referrals to specialists and further labs were discussed.

Overall good, although there was apparent confusion as to whether or not I had a wellness exam at the same location in the fall with another provider. Disappointed to hear this provider I was meeting for the first time will leave this location in a few months.
