Over the years of continuous hands-on treatment of patients and continuing education, I have developed a philosophy for how I approach massage therapy. Using a combination of visual assessment of a patient’s posture, listening to the verbal history of their pain, injury or traumas as well as taking into account their job and daily life, we look to return the patient to a functionally neutral posture. Among the multiple modalities that I rely upon to achieve that goal, the majority of the massage therapy performed is neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release technique. Working for Ohio State Integrative Medicine has certainly become a home and a passion. I enjoy the opportunity to help such a wide variety people. I am a 2003 graduate of the American Institute of Alternative Medicine.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
