Biography
I am a board-certified neuropathologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating patients for various conditions including neurodegenerative diseases, brain tumors, and disorders of the nervous system.
My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I participate in interdisciplinary teams using neuropsychological, neuroimaging, and neuropathologic techniques to advance our understanding of neurodegenerative diseases. I also am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers as well as reaching out to the community to expand exposure to pathology and lab medicine. Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Bharani has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
