Biography
I am a clinical nurse specialist in Abdominal Transplant and Hemodialysis at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in caring for patients with complex transplant and renal needs, and I contribute to the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program through interdisciplinary collaboration focused on improving patient safety and clinical outcomes.
My work focuses on improving care for patients who undergo abdominal organ transplants or require hemodialysis. I study ways to prevent infections, improve recovery, and support the long term health of patients with weakened immune systems. This type of work helps healthcare teams deliver safer treatments and may lead to better outcomes for patients who face serious medical conditions.
I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice at Capella University, earned a Master of Science as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from The Ohio State University, and received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University. My background includes extensive experience in transplant care, clinical leadership, and advanced nursing practice.
I value the innovative and collaborative environment at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and am passionate about advancing high quality patient care. I am committed to fostering clinical excellence, mentoring future clinicians, and supporting initiatives that improve outcomes for transplant and hemodialysis patients.
