Physician, Assistant Professor
Primary Care - General Internal Medicine, Pediatrics
Department: Internal Medicine
As a primary care physician, I treat patients across all stages of life from infancy to adulthood. Whether managing chronic conditions, providing preventive care or offering guidance through life's major milestones, I am committed to ensuring every member of the family receives the highest quality of care.
I chose to specialize in internal medicine and pediatrics because it’s a privilege to build lasting relationships with my patients and their families. I prioritize getting to know each person, including their backgrounds, aspirations and unique stories, which allows me to provide highly personalized care that best aligns with their needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, my role includes helping to educate future physicians. I am an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, doing home improvement projects, traveling and cheering for my alma mater – the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Empathic
Dr. Cooper is amazing. She listened, showed compassion, asked questions, gives advice, and what's best to do. With our challenges with our daughter with disability she truly understands and supports us with giving us articles, information, and resources on how best to daily care for her. I'm thankful for her and her team.
Dr. Cooper is incredible. She takes her time, covers all areas of concern, and explains possible resolutions.
Very good experience
Dr. Cooper has incredible bedside manner. She is compassionate with her care and goes above and beyond to get to know my child while making sure all of his medical needs and development needs are taken care of.
