Biography
I began my career as an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter at a local school district, working with various ages and disciplines. I also began teaching ASL at the collegiate level to aspiring interpreters. I was exposed to occupational therapy when family members were recovering from illness and I discovered a passion for rehabilitation. After approximately 12 years as an educator and interpreter, I made the decision to pursue my dream of becoming an occupational therapist and began my journey at the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. I am thrilled to be a part of the Dodd Rehabilitation team and primarily works with vascular and general rehabilitation patients.
