Biography
I specialize in palliative care at the OSUCCC – James for individuals living with serious illness. My practice focuses on symptom management, improving quality of life and supporting patients and their families throughout the care journey.
At the OSUCCC – James, I provide compassionate, patient-centered care. I work closely with physicians, nurses, social workers and other members of the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans that reflect each patient’s goals, values and needs. Through this collaborative, multidisciplinary approach, I strive to ensure patients feel supported, informed and empowered in their care decisions.
My patients can rely on me to listen closely, address complex symptoms and provide guidance during challenging moments. I help patients and their loved ones understand their treatment and care options so they can navigate their treatment with confidence and dignity.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in mentoring nurse practitioner students, new advanced practice nursing providers and members of the interdisciplinary care team. I am passionate about fostering professional growth, promoting evidence-based practice and contributing to initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and advance the field of palliative care. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and my Master of Science in Nursing degree from The Ohio State University College of Nursing.
