Biography
As a primary care sports medicine physician, my specialization focuses on a non-surgical approach to a wide array of musculoskeletal issues for all ages. I believe in working closely with my patients and providing them with a multitude of options that allows for more highly personalized care plans. I emphasize the importance of prevention and strive to help my patients create long lasting healthy and active lifestyles. My goal is to provide my patients with all the necessary knowledge and assistance on their journey back to normal activity.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the philosophy of individualized care that’s shared among providers. Having access to a vast network of resources and specialists ensures that our patients receive the highest quality care available.
In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, spending time with my friends and family, traveling and staying active through various sports, running, weight lifting and yoga.

Academics and research
I joined the Ohio State University Department of Family and Community Medicine in September 2018 and practice at Outpatient Care Gahanna. I believe in providing patients with multiple options to allow us to create a plan personalized to them. Prevention of future injuries or limitations is equally as important as the initial treatment. I personally enjoy going on the journey with my patients to help get them back to their sport or activity regardless of fitness goals. Within family medicine, I believe in a preventative approach to help create a long lasting active and healthy lifestyle. The decisions always lie in the patient's hands, I strive to provide them with options that best align their goals.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Larry Nolan has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
