Academics and research
I joined the Ohio State University Department of Family and Community Medicine in September 2018 and practice at Outpatient Care Gahanna. I believe in providing patients with multiple options to allow us to create a plan personalized to them. Prevention of future injuries or limitations is equally as important as the initial treatment. I personally enjoy going on the journey with my patients to help get them back to their sport or activity regardless of fitness goals. Within family medicine, I believe in a preventative approach to help create a long lasting active and healthy lifestyle. The decisions always lie in the patient's hands, I strive to provide them with options that best align their goals.

Wonderful doctor
Dr. Nolan helped me understand why I have pain in my knee. He explained what I needed to do to help it in detail. He understood my need to remain active and to be pain free.
All was good
He did not listen. Interrupted several times, rushed me through my appointment, left the room and I didn't even know my appointment was done. Prescribed medication that was not effective after telling him anti-inflammatory medicine didn't work before.

The provider was not wearing any identification and did not introduce himself so I wasn't even sure it was Dr Nolan. Also he seemed very rushed and "kicked the can" of my care to another doctor.
