About Me

As a primary care sports medicine physician, my specialization focuses on a non-surgical approach to a wide array of musculoskeletal issues for all ages. I believe in working closely with my patients and providing them with a multitude of options that allows for more highly personalized care plans. I emphasize the importance of prevention and strive to help my patients create long lasting healthy and active lifestyles. My goal is to provide my patients with all the necessary knowledge and assistance on their journey back to normal activity.

I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the philosophy of individualized care that’s shared among providers. Having access to a vast network of resources and specialists ensures that our patients receive the highest quality care available.

In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, spending time with my friends and family, traveling and staying active through various sports, running, weight lifting and yoga.

Dr. Nolan is very knowledgable and attentive to my ongoing physical needs. He is caring, helpful, and understands my unique physiology, making sure I get timely care. Sometimes appointments feel rushed. I feel this is an OSU Wexner Med Center problem, not his fault.

Dr. Nolan is very knowledgable, very caring. He has an unhurried manner that makes it seem as though I'm the only patient he's going to see today. At the same time, he doesn't dawdle. He balances care and professionalism in a way that makes me very comfortable.

Dr. Nolan was excellent in taking time to talk to me prior to procedure and in relieving some of my anxiety. He explained procedure well and took time to study images in order to get the best outcome. Will be returning to see him again and recommending him to others.

Good listener. I wish I could have gotten something more for pain. Muscle relaxers only help a little. They didn't help my pain that much.
