Biography
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I treat acute illnesses, manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, provide mental health care and offer routine physical examinations.
My goal is to provide continuity of care, and I build genuine relationships with each person who comes to see me. I believe this helps me better address their health conditions and needs. Every patient is unique, and I find that understanding a patient and their family dynamics helps me to develop a plan of care tailored to their specific needs and goals, leading to better overall outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Patients must fully understand their health, why certain issues occur and how lifestyle changes may improve their condition. I am passionate about educating my patients and answering all their questions. I ensure each patient feels their concerns have been heard and addressed by the end of each visit.
I also have a passion for serving underserved populations because of my time working in a local community health clinic. The experience instilled in me the importance of understanding complex patient needs and tailoring care based on their specific cultural values and family dynamics.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, our daughters and our two French bulldogs. I enjoy being outside, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with our friends and families.

Lauren is always through. Very easy to talk with about any concerns I may have, and is also very personable.
Lauren was excellent. She was referred to me by a friend and I have already referred her to another friend. She answered my questions and didn't rush the visit. She got my results back to me quickly and was very friendly!

I really enjoy having Lauren as a provider. I've asked to switch to having her as my PCP because I respect her willingness to get to the bottom of things. She's always willing to try different things and not just stop if something seems off but labs appear "normal." I feel like I can openly talk to her about my concerns and I feel like she cares. I've looked for a while for a provider that I can be open and honest with so I'm very happy with her care and demeanor.
