Biography
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I treat acute illnesses, manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, provide mental health care and offer routine physical examinations.
My goal is to provide continuity of care, and I build genuine relationships with each person who comes to see me. I believe this helps me better address their health conditions and needs. Every patient is unique, and I find that understanding a patient and their family dynamics helps me to develop a plan of care tailored to their specific needs and goals, leading to better overall outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Patients must fully understand their health, why certain issues occur and how lifestyle changes may improve their condition. I am passionate about educating my patients and answering all their questions. I ensure each patient feels their concerns have been heard and addressed by the end of each visit.
I also have a passion for serving underserved populations because of my time working in a local community health clinic. The experience instilled in me the importance of understanding complex patient needs and tailoring care based on their specific cultural values and family dynamics.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, our daughters and our two French bulldogs. I enjoy being outside, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with our friends and families.
