About MeAs a family medicine and integrative medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center I specialize in osteopathic medicine and acupuncture as it relates to primary care for children and adults. I am interested in acupuncture, mind-body practices, health promotion and holistic medicine.
Working with my patients and encouraging them in their personal pursuit of wellness is the most exciting part of my day. It’s inspiring to see patients who are grounded in the daily, sometimes difficult, work of making healthy choices for themselves and their families, and it’s something I strive to emulate in my own health journey.
I am interested in research that applies osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) to pediatric populations, especially those with feeding difficulties or developmental delay.
I enjoy the academic cultural at Ohio State. It’s great to work with people who are enthusiastically curious and passionate about patient care.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/26/2018, Dr. Welsh has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
