Biography
Lily received her BS in Allied Medicine in 2009 from The Ohio State University. During that time, she was exposed to midwifery and her passion for women’s health grew. Lily pursued a career in nursing at Vanderbilt University, where she completed her MSN specializing in Nurse-Midwifery in 2013. After returning from Nashville, Lily worked for a FQHC providing comprehensive prenatal, postpartum & gynecological services to women.
Lily focuses on serving women with competent, compassionate & patient centered care and empowering women to be active facilitators in their health care.

Lily and the entire team were wonderful. I needed some extra care and they took care of me.
She did a poor job showing me she either cared or was listening. It would be important for her to learn that saying "Mhm" repeatedly while another person is talking denotes disinterest and annoyance at what they are saying and how long they take. It was disappointing especially because it's a basic people skill you could expect any adult to know, and yet a midwife did not.
She wouldn't listen or cooperate, it was all one sided and disparaging

Lily Zimmermann provided me with excellent care. She truly listens to me everytime I come to see her. I have recommended her and the midwives to many other women.
Lily Zimmerman is amazing! She was very thorough! She answered all of my questions, and then some! She was very personable and spent more time with me than my previous midwife ever did. Very excited to have had such a great first experience at OSU Midwives.

Lily is amazing. She asked me questions and clearly explained everything that she was doing. She also took my concerns seriously and gave me excellent medical advice. I am so happy she's my provider as I am a new patient. It removes a lot of stress knowing you have a nice provider who genuinely cares about your health as whole - physical and emotional.
Lily listened to me thoroughly and made great eye contact. She didn't rush me and took all the time she and I felt like we needed to discuss my concerns. She was gentle, polite, caring, and I felt like she really understood me. She was incredibly empathetic and I left her office better than I arrived.

Lilly was excellent. She probably is one of the most personable and helpful providers I have seen in recent years. She took the time to get to know me, explained things well, and was compassionate and helpful. I did not feel rushed, and left the appointment feeling like I had learned new information about my health. I felt comfortable discussing my concerns with her and felt listened to.
LILY DID A GREAT JOB OF LISTENING TO MY CONCERNS AND GIVING ME OPTIONS FOR HOW TO CARE FOR THEM. SHE ALSO DID A VERY IMPORTANT TEST FOR ME.
