I am a psychotherapist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in the College of Medicine. My work focuses on treating depression and anxiety and supporting people through grief and loss. I have studied the benefits of mindfulness and has a personal mindfulness practice. In 2022, I completed an intensive practitioner training in MBCT through the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto and the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion in the Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care.
