Biography
I am a physical therapist, specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, shoulder rehabilitation and sports medicine rehabilitation, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My physical therapy practice focuses on helping patients restore mobility, build strength, reduce pain and return to the activities that matter most to them.
I chose a career in physical therapy after experiencing the rehabilitation process firsthand while recovering from an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction. That experience inspired me to help others achieve their physical goals and improve their quality of life. I find it especially rewarding to support patients throughout their recovery and to know that I can make a meaningful difference in their lives.
I provide patient-centered care for individuals with a wide range of orthopedic conditions and enjoy working with patients of all ages. I have a particular interest in shoulder rehabilitation, including both postoperative rehab and nonoperative conditions like shoulder impingement. I also have extensive experience helping patients recover following total shoulder and total knee replacement surgery.
My treatment approach is focused on restoring functional mobility, improving strength and reducing pain so patients can return to their daily activities with confidence. I incorporate evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy and dry needling, and have successfully integrated dry needling into patient care as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation plan.
With decades of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, I am committed to partnering with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that supports their goals and improves their overall quality of life.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
