Biography

I am a nephrologist who specializes in caring for patients who have received a kidney transplant. My practice is focused on helping patients recover from the surgery and ensure they get the most benefit from their new organ. I work alongside colleagues who are at the top of their fields here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and I enjoy collaborating with them to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

End -stage kidney disease significantly impacts a person’s health and quality of life, and my patients can rely on me to provide exceptional care that is based on the most up -to -date medical practices and guidelines. I always strive to be open and transparent with my patients, take the time to answer each question and make sure all their specific needs are addressed.

In addition, I am passionate about community efforts to educate people about kidney diseases and transplantation options. For example, the National Kidney Foundation invited me to present about the common myths associated with living kidney donor donation and I am excited to continue this type of advocacy.

Nephrology is a rapidly expanding field with a growing number of diagnoses each year, and I am committed to teaching the next generation of doctors to help provide this needed care. Throughout each stage of my career, I have provided high-quality education on various topics within nephrology, and I am currently working to develop a transplant-focused lecture series for trainees.

I am a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation.
