Biography
I am Madeline Lucas, APRN-CNP, a nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and family medicine. My practice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center focuses on preventive care, acute illnesses, chronic disease management, and on helping patients make informed decisions that support their overall well-being.
As a board-certified nurse practitioner at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I am committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and respected and are actively involved in their care. I believe strong patient-provider relationships are the foundation of great healthcare, and I work closely with each patient to better understand their health needs and goals.
My background in emergency nursing provided experience caring for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and health concerns. That experience helped me develop strong clinical decision-making skills and a comprehensive approach to treating both acute and chronic illnesses.
Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to professional growth, completing my Master of Science degree in Nursing and a national certification while working as a registered nurse. I’m passionate about supporting and empowering patients through education, helping them feel more confident in managing their health and living their best possible quality of life.
When I’m not caring for patients, I enjoy exercising, reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
